Getting Started

How do I play POTS?

Open the app and choose a game mode — Converse, Quiz, Dare, or Party Mix. Select a deck and tap Start. Cards are shown one at a time; read them aloud and take turns answering, competing, or completing challenges. There are no strict rules — play however works best for your group.

What are the different game modes?

Converse — Thoughtful conversation-starter questions for getting to know each other better.

Quiz — Trivia questions across a range of topics. Compete or play cooperatively.

Dare — Random challenges and dares, ranging from light-hearted to bold.

Party Mix — A combined stream of quiz questions, dilemmas, and dares. Great for larger groups and parties.

Do I need an account to play?

No account is required to play. You can pick a mode and start playing immediately. Creating an account enables progress sync across devices and access to your saved settings.

How many people can play?

POTS works for any group size — from two players to a large party. One device is shared around the group; there is no need for everyone to have the app installed.

Subscriptions & Billing

Is POTS free to use?

Yes. Converse mode and a selection of starter decks are completely free, with no time limit or credit card required. A Pro subscription unlocks all four game modes and the full deck library.

How do I upgrade to POTS Pro?

Tap Upgrade in the app at any time. You can choose a monthly or annual plan. Payment is handled through your App Store account.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple App Store account, not through the POTS app itself. To cancel:

On iPhone/iPad, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, find POTS, and tap Cancel Subscription.

You will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods, but you can contact Apple for billing disputes.

I was charged but I don't have Pro access. What do I do?

First, try restoring your purchases: open POTS, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. If the issue persists, contact us at support@bregox.com with your Apple receipt or order ID and we will investigate.

Account & Data

How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account directly in the app: go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data. Deletion is completed within 30 days.

You can also submit a manual data deletion request by emailing privacy@bregox.com or visiting our account deletion page.

What data does POTS collect?

We collect only what is necessary to operate the app. See our full Privacy Policy for details. For data requests or GDPR enquiries, contact privacy@bregox.com.

Technical Issues

The app crashed or something isn't working. What do I do?

Try the following steps:

1. Force-close the app and reopen it.
2. Check that your device is running a supported version of iOS.
3. Reinstall the app — your data will be preserved if you are signed in.

If the issue continues, email support@bregox.com with a brief description of what happened and your device model. Screenshots are always helpful.

Content isn't loading. Why?

POTS loads its card library on first launch and caches it locally, so it works offline afterwards. If content is missing, open the app with an active internet connection to trigger a refresh. If the problem persists, contact us at support@bregox.com.

I'd like to suggest a card or report inappropriate content.

We welcome suggestions and take content concerns seriously. Send your feedback to support@bregox.com — include the deck name and card text if relevant. We review all reports and update the content library regularly.

Is POTS available in languages other than English?

POTS supports multiple languages. The app will use your device's language setting automatically if supported. To change the language manually, go to Settings → Language in the app.
